O clipe de Prosper foi finalmente lançado, cerca de 20 dias depois da música, e cerca de um mês depois do começo de sua gravação, em maio, antes e após seu primeiro show na Europa, realizado na Holanda. Taeyeon novamente dirigiu o MV em conjunto com o time da R. Entertainment, e dividiu algumas cenas com Oh Sehun. Metade das filmagens foi realizada nos campos floridos holandeses, mais especificamente na Floral Bulb Region, em Keukenhof, Países Baixos, enquanto a outra metade foi realizada nos estúdios da gravadora.
O clipe começa mostrando alguém andando de bicicleta em meio à um campo de flores vermelhas no que parece ser o começo de uma manhã. O instrumental da canção começa assim que o ângulo da filmagem é mudado, mostrando que Taeyeon está na bicicleta, a levando em direção ao sol nascente no final da estrada de terra, uma cena com linda fotografia, mostrando a sombra da cantora no veículo em meio aos campos aos seus lados.
Ao começar da primeira estrofe, Taeyeon é mostrada em uma sala branca, envolvida por alguns galhos e folhagens. Em referência ao uso da escala de cores na era Meltdown, na qual a escala de cinza representava o vazio emocional e as cores representavam satisfação, na capa e agora no clipe de Prosper, os dois tipos de coloração são usados em contraste em uma mesma cena. Isso simboliza que tudo ao redor de Tae (os elementos naturais, como as plantas) está da maneira como deveria ser, mas ela ainda não se sente bem.

Ela olha em volta, tentando decifrar de onde aquilo veio, e logo vamos uma expressão extremamente triste em seu rosto, e ela vira o rosto para longe do que acabou de ver. Um rápido take mostra ela e Oh Sehun deitados entre as flores, rindo juntos. Isso é um flashback, uma memória à ser superada (para que ela possa prosperar).
O refrão chega, e com ele novas cenas gravadas em estúdio. Nesse take, Taeyeon está "de cabeça para baixo", outra maneira de demonstrar que ela está em um estado emocional complicado. Ela dubla os versos com rimas fortes enquanto faz movimentos que parecem ser parte da coreografia da canção, sempre tentando alcançar o que está no "alto", as flores representantes da prosperidade que ela procura, mas não consegue alcançar.
